"I believe in animal rights, and high among them is the right to the gentle stroke of a human hand." ~Robert Brault
I have worked as a veterinary technician off and on since 2001. I love my job and the challenges it provides every day. I am very lucky to work with professionals that support my organization Helping Paws Across Borders.
Helping Paws Across Borders was founded after I had taken a trip to Mexico with my husband. While in Mexico we visited the Yucatan Peninsula. I loved the area and the people were incredible however the condition of most every animal I saw was horrific.
Upon coming home I just could not shake the notion that there had to be someway I could help the animals and people of desolate areas.
Helping Paws Across Borders was my new project. I was going to hold spay and neuter clinics in other countries.
I did just that. I work very hard to be able to buy supplies and medicine for my clinics. I have support from all of my working colleagues, rescue groups, friends and especially my family
Thank you for taking the time to see what "Helping Paws Across Borders" means to me
